Student Entries 

For a wine to be entered as a student wine the following condition apply

• Entry is open to individual students or small groups (maximum of six per group) from secondary schools or first or second year tertiary courses. Students must be aged 21 or younger on 1st October of the year of the show
• Student wines will have free registration and normal entry fees
• Student wines must be made by the students themselves and cannot be sold commercially
• All other conditions of entry to ANAWBS apply
• Student wines will be judged in open classes against all other entries and be awarded medals and places based on merit
• The highest scoring student wine will be awarded the Best Student Wine Award

In addition to grape wines, students are encouraged consider entries in the non-grape classes where smaller quantities are easier to make and fruit is available at different times of the year.
