Contact Roger Pounder for further information. 2004 Woodstock Shiraz (U/L) - Sweet, juicy red berry on the nose, following through to the palate and displays some Satsuma plum flavours complexed with a nuance of earthy tones with some pepper and cloves spice. Minnow Creek Rose’ 2006 - Colour: Vibrant pink with crimson edges. Nose: Lifted rose petals and black cherry combined with raspberry and savoury elements. Palate: Full flavoured red berries on entry, filling out to dark cherry and raspberry on the mid palate leading to a finish of great length with balanced acidity and a gentle tannin structure. Comes with Minnow Creek label. The following wines are premium wines made by Minnow Creek. They are all offerred at significantly reduced prices and can be ordered by the case, half case or bottle. Showing grassiness with pear and light tropical persistence. Picked on March 19th, free run Sauvignon juice was cool fermented in stainless steel over 3 weeks. A small portion of Semillon was wild yeast fermented in French Oak barrels and kept on its lees for two Months before being blended with the tank fermented material giving the wine greater weight and complexity. Normal retail price $222.00 Alcohol 13.0% by volume. Minnow Creek Shiraz 2005 - $222/doz Colour: Incredibly deep red with a vivid crimson rim. Aroma: lifted violets, complimented by blackberry, mocha and anise with subtle charry oak. Palate: Rich full dark berry fruits on entry, now beginning to show complex layers of blackberry, olives and spicy liquorice. The finish is very long with some warmth and is supported by an enveloping but silky tannin structure. Cellaring: Properly stored, this fine Shiraz should drink well to 2012 and beyond, demonstrating the richness and depth for which McLaren Vale Shiraz is renowned. Normal retail price $300.00 Alcohol 14.5% by volume. Black Minnow 2006 - $180/doz Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec. Colour: Vibrant red with a strong crimson rim. Aroma: Primary fruit aromas of Black cherry and Rhubarb, typical of Sangiovese together with dark berries and spiciness provided by the Cabernet and the Malbec. Very enticing! Palate: Generous red berry fruits on entry, filling out on to the mid palate to blackberry jubes and white pepper all balanced by firm supporting acidity. The finish is spicy with a light supple tannin structure. Cellaring: Designed primarily for enjoyment on release, our 2006 Black Minnow will repay cellaring for up to 3 years, gaining complexity and rewarding the patient among us!
